New Orleans outlook in black and white

A recent Gallup/USA Today/CNN poll of more than 800 New Orleans residents found that while black residents suffered more, they are more optimistic about the future.

53% of blacks surveyed said they lost everything in Katrina, versus only 19% of whites. Yet, 67% of blacks surveyed said the city would return to normal, versus 52% of whites. There are more interesting results here.
