Election 08: Three polls in row say Florida tied

Florida isn't just a presidential battleground state. Three new polls released in quick succession suggest that it is the quintessential swing state -- since all three remarkably show McCain and Obama exactly tied.

First came a CNN/Time poll, results published yesterday:

McCain 48%
Obama 48%

Then came American Research Group, released today:

McCain 46%

Obama 46%

And now, the Allstate/National Journal Balleground Poll:

McCain 44%

Obama 44%
