Gustav Coverage: Human rights monitors needed for evacuee shelters

The U.S. Human Rights Network is seeking volunteers to monitor potential human rights violations, gather information, and conduct interviews in shelters housing Gustav evacuees. Volunteers are needed in Memphis, Knoxville and Nashville, Tenn.; Alexandria and Shreveport, La.; Houston and San Antonio, Texas; Atlanta; and Fort Chaffee, Ark. USHRN is looking for volunteers who speak the various languages of the Gulf Coast, particularly Spanish, French and Vietnamese.
