February 15, 2019 - Faced with losing accreditation from the Southern Association for Colleges and Schools because of its finances, the North Carolina school launched a fundraising campaign that far exceeded its goals. Though leaders of the private North Carolina school for women are confident that their efforts will save its accredidation, the battle to save the institution highlights a fundamental unfairness in the system.
