Common Cause North Carolina launched a statewide town hall tour last month to challenge the extreme legislation being passed in the North Carolina General Assembly, including a recently approved measure that makes it harder to cast a ballot in the state. Organizers say that the town halls are designed to educate and mobilize voters for the upcoming 2024 election season.
