Trey Walk is an organizer, strategist, and writer committed to love, Black liberation, and the freedom of all who live at the margins of society. Trey has worked with organizations across the country on community organizing, providing direct client services, and winning policy change. He is currently a democracy researcher and advocate in the U.S. Program at Human Rights Watch. In this role, he investigates and challenges threats to voting rights, access to truthful information, and civic engagement.
