Light blogging

November 10, 2005 - Will be light blogging today and tomorrow, with The Blogger Formerly Known as South Knox Bubba on vacation and the Institute gearing up to launch an exciting project next week (stay tuned!).

OK, then.

September 15, 2005 - Mark Twain once said "It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt." As someone frequently known to ignore good advice, it looks like I'll be hanging out here for a while. Thanks to Chris and Facing South for the kind introduction and for the invitation to be a regular here.

South Knox Bubba Rides Again, Again

September 15, 2005 - Two weeks ago, we were overwhelmed by your great response when we hauled R. Neal, the-blogger-formerly-known-as-South-Knox-Bubba, out of blogosphere retirement to cover Facing South for a week. In fact, it went so well, we're going to make it a mostly-regular gig.

Thanks and Adieu to TBFKASKB

September 6, 2005 - Thanks once again to The Blogger Formerly Known As South Knox Bubba -- aka R. Neal -- for doing a great job covering here at Facing South last week, and showing why he's always been a blogging favorite. Thanks also to Facing South readers, new and old, for showing ex-SKB such warm hospitality and jumping into the discussions he started.

A Small Anniversary

August 12, 2005 - It blew right by us like a gust of summer heat, but August 10 marked the 6-month anniversary of our patch of progressive blogdom, Facing South. Given the blog pioneers in our midst, that means we're still newbies -- although with thousands of new blogs setting forth daily, we feel older every day.
